Here is a fine condition USN Mark 2 Fighting Knife which is the Navy version of the KaBar.

This one has a blued blade and is marked on the guard by the Camillus Co of NY.

The scabbard is profusely marked on the front and back as shown.

These were issued to US sailors and officers who were armed with a pistol or the M1 Carbine. Such personnel included Hospital Corpsmen, Seebees, Aviators, UDT men, Shore Parties etc.
