Toyoda Jidou Shokki (Toyoda Automatic Loomworks) Last Ditch Type 30 Bayonet with Frog circa 1945.

This bayonet will fit all Japanese Arisaka rifles regardless of caliber.

Last Ditch bayonets were made in late 1944 and in 1945. They exemplified the desperate blockade of Japan which lead to thlack of steel sufficient to manufacture metal scabbards. Instead, wooden scabbards with metal throats and tips, secured with glue and string, were used. Somewhere painted green others were left with just a stain.
