This is an original World War II, Japanese army rising sun Bamzi flag. these were tied to the end of rifles, or slings during bonsai attacks, and were highly sought after seven years.

It is made of silk and measures 2 x 3‘. One of the tie corners is no longer present. Condition is very sound, not tattered or falling apart.

This was purchased from the daughter of a World War II veteran, who included one original photograph of her father wearing a Marine Corps issue, wool shirt and overseas cap. This practice was common for naval personnel assigned to record units. The original photograph is stated on the back in 1945.

The other documents are high quality scans, which the daughter wish to retain.
