Like 1,000 stich belts and good luck flags, this is another talisman carried by a Japanese who had the ability to travel. Most likely he was an officer.

The owner would have felt great comfort in having this blessed book given the number of shrines visited.

This expanding, two sided, book has 52 pages FULL of shrine stamps, a few naval postage stamps and some tourist stamps.  The book is named on front.

It appears to have started in 1935, Showa 10.
