WW2 Japanese Type 14 Holster with Shoulder Strap

Here is a very scarce World War II Japanese type 14 Nambu holster. This is the correct holster for your Army or Special Naval Landing Force, base defense force or other Japanese Navy Ground unit display.

This holster is in unique that it has the original leather shoulder strap. 90% of the Japanese holsters out there do not have the shoulder strap. Perhaps the shoulder straps were cut off in order to recover the pistol and holster from a KIA.

In addition, this is the early style holster with a non-spring loaded closure strap at the bottom of the flap.

This holster appears to have received a small shrapnel hit at the brass buckle. It is bent inward. The male prong that passes through the leather strap is present underneath.
