Here is a very rare, last ditch, Japanese type 30 Arisaka Bennett with wooden scabbard.

The wooden scabbard is held together by glue & string and is capped with a metal tip and metal throat.

The earlier birds-head pommel and hooked guard were not manufactured this late in the war in order to save raw materials.

This bayonet was made at the Jinsen Arsenal in Korea. Korea had been occupied by Japan as a colony for many years; so, small arms production, including rifles, hand grenades, and bayonets occurred under Japanese military supervision in Korea.

Compared to last ditch bayonets made in Japan,  Jinsen are very scarce. The only more scarce bayonet might be one made in Mukden, China.
