An amazing find consisting of a hand woven bamboo basket with a few ration biscuits, known as Kanpan. Kanpan were B grade Emergency Rations. Also included is a simple wartime chop sticks.

These little, two hole, biscuits are photo-documented in several US WW2 intelligence manuals. We included a photo from one here.
