Really neat, battlefield pickup, salty, WW2 Japanese Army enlisted field cap.
The owner sewed his name into the left side of the cap using the Japanese writing system called Katakana. Katakana was the easiest way to sew names into equipment.
This soldier sewed イケ ツマ which means IKETSUMA.
The other side of the cap has more Katakana sewn in by the Japanese soldier.
The characters 六ニ are above the Katakana characters ヲコ which means 62 and Woko. This is his unit designation.
62 could refer to the 62nd Division which fought on Okinawa.
We seldom see IJA caps with exterior sewn names let alone units.
The stamp inside indicates size small and Showa 15 production, which is 1940. The owners name is written inside the box opposite the manufacturing information.
