This is a Japanese World War II, army enlisted and noncommissioned officer’s uniform for wear in hot Tropical weather.

This was the standard uniform worn in the Pacific theater, Southeast Asia, India, Burma, Singapore and China.

It is made of lightweight, loosely woven cotton with a slightly darker color collar. It had wooden and plastic buttons.

The trousers have a tape tie that goes all the way around the waist from the sides.

The shirt is well marked and dated Showa 17 which is 1942; size is medium.

The trousers have no maker marks but are 100% correct and original guaranteed for life.

this is a great start to your World War II Japanese display.

The shirt and the pants are unissued; they do not bear names or do they have signs of use or wear.
