This is a beautiful set of World War II Japanese Arisaka ammunition pouches.
As as most experienced collectors will tell you, finding a pair of Japanese or German pouches that appear to be matching for your display is extremely difficult these days.
Many collectors are forced to buy one pouch at a time and are continuously trading up until they end up with a matching pair. It is a very expensive and time-consuming endeavor.

These are very nice pouches in that they are not dry, rotted, crazed, cracked, etc.; nor do they have loose stitching.
