These are the standard issue jack boots worn in the pre-war and early war years until worn out and replaced by shoes. This style was commonly worn worn by senior NCOs with spurs as a status symbol.
The are marked 2072 W and have the maker mark on the instep.
This pair has original hobnails in place.
They have a shelf in the heel for spurs.
These measure 11 inches across the bottom.
