A very rare pair of unissued combat shoes.

These replaced the 12 in jackboots as the war progressed.

This pair has steel on the heels and toes,  RBN numbers inside both boots and are size 43 marked.

This pair is late war as they were made without eyelets to conserve on metal.

They were hastily dyed black as you can see black dye running here and there.
