This is very rare Arbeitsbuch for a Polish individual.
This man was born in 1905. The book appears to be issued in 1941.
There entries throughout the war up until March 1945.
There are also entries from after the war up until November 23, 1947.
We presume this was the only identification book for this particular Displaced  Person.
Perhaps he was sent to work in Germany and needed this identification book in order to get back to Poland.
At that time, some identification was better than none at all.
