Here is a beautiful World War II Japanese Rising Sun banzai flag. This flag is unique amongst the hundreds of Japanese rising Sun flags we have seen. This particular flag has gold fringe on three sides, making it a very special flag.

This flag has the sun in the center of the field, indicating it is an army flag.

This type of flag would have been attached to the bayonet and or rifle’s sling during a banzai charge.

Rising Sun flags are much more difficult to find then simple, meatball flags.

Size is about 2 x 3’.

Corner reinforcements anti-strings are both in tact.
