Here is a fully documented photo following the aftermath of battle that took place on October 30, 1965 when the VC & NVA tried to overrun A Co 1/1 USMC who were defending Hill 22 near Da Nang in I Corps.

We found the photo and quickly ran down the offical USMC records describing the battle.

We note the date says November 1965 but, having served in the military ourselves, can say dates get fuzzy when time passes and film is not promptly developed.

Regardless, the photo clearly shows dead VC on display on Hill 22 describing how they killed 85 VC that night.
