A rare lot to a US Marine door gunner including his 1966 Air Medal with V for valor, the award Citation; his Combat Air Crew Wings made by Meyer; his Air Medal with Certificate and order from 1970; his 1962 Certificate of Acceptance into the Marines plus a card and letter from his recruiter; a newspaper clipping; his EGAs and a photo dated 1980 where his is still serving in the USMC.

This is a historic lot from a true hero. Reading the Citation you get the impression that his actions were worthy of a much higher award.
