The R105 was the standard Soviet Infantry Radio used from the 1940 to 1960s in the USSR.

It was exported all over the world due to its rugged reliability. The bakelite case lasted well under field use. They were made with data plates and controls in various languages for export to client states.

The NVA VC and even Iraqi Forces used this radio.

This one has the hand set and whip antenna.

It could extend its range with the attachment of the YM-2 Amplifier.
