This newspaper documents a meeting between the North Vietnamese, Cambodian and Laotian leadership following the US and ARVN invasion into Cambodia, which began on April 29, 1970. Another referenced article describes tWO American planes having been shot down, bringing the total to 3340 American aircraft shot down.
NVA Political Officers, who were superior to and who paralleled their military counterparts, maintained ideological control over troops with this very newspaper.
