This is a very difficult to find North Vietnamese Army belt.
The lime green, loosely woven, web belt was made in Hanoi.
The buckle is a Chinese Communist made, large star, interlocking, type.
At some point after the 3 to 6 month trip down the Ho Chi Minh Trail, the NBA soldier who wore this belt, no longer needed it. It was subsequently brought here by a returning veteran.
