North Vietnamese Army Hanoi Made AK47 Magazine Pouch

Here is a Hanoi made AK47 pouch for three mags, oiler and cleaning kit (none included).

It is basically a copy of the North Korean Three Cell Type 58 Magazine pouch of the era. The North Korean pouch, like this one, are copies of the Soviet AK pouch with the addition of an adjustable shoulder strap.

Hanoi made pouches are made from various colors of canvas or loosely woven cotton, with different color trim and wooden or plastic toggle buttons. Hardware is a crude copy of Chinese roller wire buckles, as here. Note the crude welds on the wire!
