North Korean Made Mosin Nagant Sling

Very, very, rare, North Korean made wide, web & leather sling for the Russian Model  1891/40 rifle, m1938 carbine and 1944 Mosin Nagant Carbine with side folding bayonet in 7.62x54r.

The NVA & VC used these carbines extensively and called them K44.

This sling is unmarked as are all North Korean Slings we have seen.

This rare sling is in unissued, new old stock, condition.

There are several features that scream North Korean made. In no particular order:

Green gray web color as seen on other KPA slings and pouches.

14 consecutive milling knots across the web as seen on other KPA slings.

Aluminum buckle as seen on other KPA Slings.

Maroon thread used to sew on leather loop as seen on other KPA made equipment.

Same width as other KPA slings.

Unique KPA end attachment design like the unique KPA end clip on their Type 58, Type 63 and Type 68 slings.  The North Koreans just do unique things in their military gear.
