Korean War North Korean Winter Hat with Star Interior

Here is a North Korean Winter Hat from the Korean War.

It has the tell-tale star sewn into the upper inner padding which indicates it is for North Korean issue.

As with much the North Koreans wore, this cap was likely made in China to North Korean specifications.

After the US counterattack, the North Koreans were unable to sustain their military without massive assistance from the PRC, including uniforms and headgear.
