A nice pair of split toe sneakers worn by Japanese Troops in the Pacific War. These were worn by Army and Naval Ground Forces from Guadalcanal to Okinawa.

This pair is well marked on the soles and inside as you can see.

The rubber is dry as they all are but because they were properly stuffed many years ago, they make a great display item whether table top or on a mannequin.
