Long macabre black robe with a pointed hood.
It has very long sleeves. The sleeves are cut at an angle (photo 3) rather than coming to a straight cuff. They would dramatically resemble a pointed cape when wielding a sword in downward fashion.
The non-detachable pointed hood is sewn directly to the shoulders. It covers the head and neck. There is sufficient material to close the sides of the hood around the wearers face to hide the executioner’s face.
This came back from Iraq with a number of Iraqi items. It shows some evidence of age and washing.
The ISIS executioner in the photo was himself knifed to death in January 2017.
A garment like this was not mass produced based on a pattern like a uniform would have been. As a result as many variations will exist as the tailor who sewed them can think of.
