Iraqi DCU Ripstop Jacket with DRMO Stamp

This is an unusual DCU jacket. It has epaulets, cheap made copies of US DCU Buttons and velcro over the pockets.

The DRMO stamp in inside clearly indicates this came back with surplus DCUs and was sold through the DRMO. The consignor reports it came along with the many DCU jackets here.

It is likely that a US service member bought this in Iraq on the open market so that he could turn this DCU jacket either in in exchange for keeping a patched-out DCU jacket he wore in-country or because they lost one.

When uniforms get turned in, typically the supply are just counting items and not checking carefully The servicemember hands in the uniform and just moves along the turn-in lane getting the the checkmark on the form that it was turned in.
