A pristine example of a cap now more than 100 years old.  It has original German newspaper folded up and placed under the sweatband. We did not remove it to see the date. That can be done by the buyer at their discretion.

The leather bill and sweatband are not dried out; no tears in the liner and there is no visible mothing. Just a very fine early example.
