When the CPV first crossed the Yalu they wore quilted and padded winter uniforms. These were worn until the first spring then were discarded. During the second winter they wore only padded uniforms.
As a result of having been worn only one winter and very few padded quilted uniforms having been brought home from the first Korean War Winter, these uniforms are rare as rooster eggs.
This pair of trousers is about a close and one can come to an original pair of CPV winter pants. They are made in 1963 in some Warsaw Pact country as marked inside. They material, cut and color are spot on for CPV.
If you own one of the few original jackets and do not have pants these are great investment.
