During the Korean War, the Chinese produced various lightweight two and four cell grenade pouches. They had cotton poplin bodies and web or cotton poplin shoulder straps. Some were marked on the back, most were not. Some had white broadcloth backings to reinforce the thing material with something cheaper to produce than poplin.

As you may know, many early ChiCom items made their way into the hands of the Viet Minh and the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong. As such this pouch would be great for those displays too.

This is a hard to find four cell grenade pouch made in the early 1950s with a factory marked white cotton backing.
