This is a very rare pouch for use with captured BARs. It is un-marked and un-dated on the back.
I have only seen two like this made in the 1960s. The Chinese did make BAR and ZB-26 pouches like this during the Korean War but the were made of leather and canvas or all leather.
The BAR was well distributed amongst the Viet Cong.
