Here’s a very rare uniform capture on Grenada in October 1983.
This is a uniform worn by the People’s Revolutionary Army (PRA), which was the local, Island-raised, communist, Grenadian army.
These were also worn by a Cuban soldiers and construction workers who were stationed on the island.
There are no traditional Soviet markings. The only markings are the label, 44-II in the tunic, which has a size 40 chest; and the trousers, 44-I, which has a size 32 waist.
The pebble green buckles are unique to Soviet made export tropical uniform uniforms like this one.
This uniform is unissued has never been worn.
