Here is a fantastic, little used, leather sword belt for a Naval Officer on shore duty.

These were worn by all commissioned and warrant officers in the Special Naval Landing Force, Naval Ground Defense Force, Naval Guard Units etc.

This one had brass fittings to carry the double hanger gunto Samuari sword. Because some Navy swords were converted to a single hamger, this belt can easily convert as well by simply removing the rear loop.
