Here is a rare dog tag with neck cord for a soldier, #59, who was assigned to the Reserve Signal Unit of the 13th Infantry Division.

This unit was based in China, was alerted to move to Guam, but only 300 men were sent before the US invaded.

Because the owner was a trained Signalman, a specialist, he was needed more than a rifleman, and was sent.
