This is an unissued WW2 Japanese tropical shirt made of lightweight cotton.
This was the type of shirt worn in the Pacific theater of war. It was also worn in Southeast Asia, Burma, China, etc.
Under the arms are open heat vents with a button on each side. The buttons are made of wood.
It is well marked inside and dated Showa 18, which is 1943; size appears to be either four or medium. The shirt was made at the Tokyo uniform depot.
Condition is nearly perfect with only signs of storage wear and no name has been written inside.
