This is a really neat piece in that the machete was made in England, it’s name to a VC and has a cool jungle made, hand stitched scabbard.

It is a little known fact that the UK occupied Vietnam for about six months after WW2 ended. This happened because there were no organized French units in Asia that were capable of taking the surrender of the Japanese in Vietnam. The Brits left some equipment behind including this machete.
