Neat little Romanian oil and solvent bottle embossed with B U.

As you know the NVA VC used mostly ChiCom made Type 56 – AK-47 assault rifles but they did receive small arms from Romania too.

This bottle was carried in the ChiCom chestpouch. Every solider was issued some kind of oil bottle as weapons maintenance was required in the hot wet humid climate of Viet Nam. When the oil and solvent ran out many weapons rusted.
