This is very difficult to find North Vietnamese first aid pouch. It can also be used to carry a compass.

As you can see, it’s made of loosely woven reed, green cotton with a oversize wooden toggle button.

Note the color of the material for the button retention strap & the loop are not the same color as the body.

This is consistent with field equipment made in Hanoi to ship south with North Vietnamese soldiers.
