Houthi Rebel Clothing Sandals & Dagger

Here is a great opportunity to have the “uniform” of one of our current enemy nemesis, the Houthis of Yemen.

As you can see in the various photos, Houthi fighters very often wear a Yemini tribal headscarf; a plaid sports coat; a pullover robe called a “thobe”; leather sandals; a dagger called a Jimbayah which either held onto the waist by an ornate Yemeni ceremonial wide waist belt with prayer beads wrapped around the handle of the dagger; and a nylon or canvas chest rig  for multiple AK47 magazines which is often worn to one side or the other.

The items offered here are of sourced from Yemen.

• Cloth headscarf with Yemeni national emblem;
• Blue plaid Sports-coat with pattern oddly oriented around the arms.  Has made in Yemen label and is about size 44. Many photos show sports-coats being worn with the tailor label still attached on the left sleeve;
• Yemeni pattern Jimbayah curved dagger with leather scabbard and wide Yemeni waist belt which has a loop inside to hold the scabbard in place;
• Tan Prayer beads which worn around the handle of the Jimbayah;
• Brown cotton thobe with made in Yemen label
• Blue Leather sandals with swooping Arabic falcon emblem on the strap size 43.

All items in this lot are in excellent to unused condition and have been sourced from vendors with direct contacts in Yemen.
