The CPV carried many types of pistols during the Korean War including the Broomhandle, Tokarev, Nagant Revolver, Nambu etc.

They were primarily issued to Officer’s as a status symbol.

They were issued as many varieties of ammunition pouches for these.

This is  a neat one with Type 51 embossed on the front flap.  It is lined.
