This is a unique 1974 dated pouch for SKS ammunition and the oil/solvent bottle.

This appears to be consistent with a short production run for a few reasons.

By 1974, the AK had long replaced the SKS in the Chinese Army.

The SKS was being exported to client states all over the world including the Pathet Lao and Khmer Rouge.

The pouch was constructed with 1950s wire hardware with one rounded edge, 1960s green brown canvas, 1970s reed green edging, and a 1970s larger, upgraded,  oil/solvent can pouch.

Condition is used consistent with jungle wear.
